Additionally, we noted that the waitress was much friendlier with the tables around us than she was with us, which was confusing. When I got the printed receipt back, I saw that we were charged full price for the skewers that were supposed to be ordered as part of the starter trio. I was also forced to enter the tip amount with the waitress standing over me, with the machine giving default options of 20%, 22%, or 25%. When it was time for the check, we were simply told the total and the card was run on a portable machine and we were given no opportunity to review the check before paying to ensure it was correct. The entrees were good, though one person in the party got a kitchen entree and asked for bread that they never received, even after asking a second time for the bread.

We requested the skewers we ordered, and were told they would put those in and to keep the quesadillas. When the starter was delivered, there were quesadillas instead of skewers. We requested the trio starter with gyoza, lettuce wraps, and steak skewers. We wanted to order a starter and she skipped over asking us if we wanted to do so and was in a hurry for us to place our entree orders. From the beginning, the waitress that sat us seemed to be in a hurry, starting with her not even waiting for us to get to our feet after our name was called before she was walking away to the table. I have been to other Flat Top Grill locations in the past and was excited to return after several years (yay Roti bread!) While the food was good, we were very disappointed in the service we received.
